Vision
To empower individuals and communities through education and cultural preservation, fostering a society where the Nepali language, art, technology, and leadership skills thrive for future generations.

Mission
Nepali Language Protection Class: To promote and preserve the Nepali language by providing accessible language education, fostering appreciation for its cultural significance, and encouraging its use in daily life and media.

Art and Painting Class: To cultivate creativity and artistic expression by offering inclusive art classes that celebrate Nepali culture and heritage, enabling participants to explore their artistic talents and share their stories through visual arts.

Basic Computer Class: To bridge the digital divide by providing essential computer skills training, ensuring individuals have the tools to succeed in an increasingly digital world, and empowering them to access information and opportunities.

Leadership Class: To develop the next generation of leaders by equipping participants with critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills, fostering a sense of civic responsibility and encouraging active participation in their communities.

Enrollment Policy:
Eligibility: Participants must meet the age and experience requirements outlined in the age group policy.
Application Process: Interested individuals must complete an application form, providing necessary personal information and a brief statement of interest in shadow Support Foundation website portal.
Acceptance Criteria: Enrollment will be based on application review, and successful candidates will be notified via email and text messages.

Fee: Tuition is Free of cost, but students should manage themselves all required materials and equipment for the classroom use.

Deadline: Applications must be submitted by the specified deadline to ensure consideration. The deadline for application is April 10th, 2025, for this schooling period.

Selection Criteria: Enrollment is based on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to underprivileged students.

Age Group Policy:
Age Requirements: Participants must be between the ages of 7 to 17 (Nepali learning class), 9 to 17 (Arts and Painting Class), 11+(Basic Computer class). 16 to 30 for Leadership training class. Special exceptions may be made for individuals with relevant experience or those recommended by a current member of the organization.


Age Verification: Proof of age (e.g., government-issued ID) may be required during the enrollment process.

Safety Policy:
Safety Protocols: All participants must adhere to established safety protocols during

classes /training sessions.
Emergency Procedures:

Participants will be briefed on emergency procedures at the beginning of the course, including evacuation routes and emergency contacts.
Health Considerations: Participants should disclose any health concerns or medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate safely.

Lesson Plan Policy:
Planning Requirements: Instructors must submit detailed lesson plans at least one week before each class, including objectives and materials needed.
Curriculum Alignment: Lesson plans should align with educational goals and include opportunities for creativity and self-expression.
Feedback Mechanism: Lesson plans will be reviewed by the program coordinator, with constructive feedback provided for improvement.

4. Teaching Policy:
Instruction Methods: Instructors are encouraged to use diverse teaching methods, including demonstrations, guided practice, and independent projects.
Student Engagement: Activities should promote creativity and allow students to explore different techniques and mediums.
Assessment: Regular assessments will evaluate student progress, with opportunities for self-reflection and peer feedback.

Supervision Policy:
Instructor Presence: A qualified instructor must be present in the classroom at all times.
Monitoring: Regular monitoring of student activities will be conducted to ensure engagement and adherence to class policies.
Support Staff: Additional support staff may assist the instructor during classes.

6. Sickness Policy
Reporting Illness: Parents/guardians must inform the school if a student is sick and unable to attend class.
Return to Class: Students absent due to illness for three or more consecutive days must provide a doctor’s note upon returning.
Support for Sick Students: Instructors will provide materials and guidance for students who miss classes due to illness.

7. Cell Phone Policy:
Restrictions: Cell phones must be turned off and stored away during class time to minimize distractions.
Emergency Use: Students may use their phones for emergencies only, with prior permission from the instructor.
Consequences for Violation: Unauthorized phone use may result in confiscation of the device for the day.


8. Attendance Policy
Attendance Tracking: Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each class.
Excused Absences: Absences due to illness or emergencies must be documented with appropriate verification.
Consequences for Excessive Absences: Students with excessive unexcused absences may need to meet with the instructor to discuss their participation.

9. Termination Policy
Grounds for Termination: Students may be terminated for ongoing disruptive behavior, failure to comply with class policies, or lack of progress in their artistic development.
Review Process: A meeting will be held with the student and their guardian before any termination decision is made.
Re-enrollment: Terminated students may apply for re-enrollment in future sessions after addressing the issues that led to termination.
